Your website is your place of business and while you might have any number of digital marketing campaigns running on social media, google, email marketing your website is ultimately where you will want to funnel your customers.
Your website is the single most value piece of digital real estate you own. Sure, customers might encounter your brand on social media but they rarely , if ever buy on social media. “Never build your house on rented land” is a saying that is so apt here. The reality is that you could spend months building up a following on a social media platform, a platform that you untimely don’t control. You don’t set the rules here and there’s nothing to stop the owners of the platform changing the rules at any given time. This could have a detrimental effect on your online making. Your Website is one thing over which you have complete and explicit control. You call the shots here and its ,increasing the yardstick by which your entire online business will be measured.
