Optimise each webpage for search
I spoke about keywords and key phrases in Bite #9. Before watching this video it might be worth going back and watching that video.
While you will look at some site wide factors as part of your SEO strategy it’s not a straight forward on-size-fits all situation . in fact each individual page will need to be optimised individually. Hoooold on optimization?! Now what’s he on about right? All that word means is that we as site owners and developers we are doing everything in our power to satisfy and yes, impress the search engines. We are making sure each page is ticking as many boxes as possible in the eyes of google. When we achieve this we can say that the page is optimized.
After doing your keyword research again covered in an earlier video it is highly lightly that you will want to create new pages to maximise your potential search engine exposure for as many of your chosen keywords as possible. When a search engine presents results after a user has conducted a search its not presenting entire sites, its presenting individual pages that best fit the users search query. This means that each individual page on your site offers an opportunity for you to rank for a different keyword or key phrase
