As a business you know there is a lot of competition along with continuous changes to how customers are buying. Let’s face it; it is hard to keep up with all the new social media and web trends. It can be difficult to think of new marketing ideas. There are so many marketing ideas suggested but will they work for your business?

Do you try to keep up with all the trends? In business, it is wise to keep a clear head and a sharp eye on your business objective. It is easy to get caught up in all the new marketing ideas and start panicking about what to do next.

I suggest stop, think and look at what your business is using for marketing. Is it working? Think about your target market, have they changed? Are there things you can change, add, or take away? Above all keep it simple. Work from your research about your target audience. Introduce incremental changes.

A little like the instructional video, great content displays knowledge but it also keeps your existing content up to date. How annoying is it when you go to a website and their information is old. I feel frustrated and if the business isn’t bothering to update their content why would I visit their site again.

Develop A Customer Referral Reward System

Multimedia entertainment service provider Sky does this; they reward you when you successfully get someone to signup for their service.

Involving your customers existing and potential is a great way for them to get to learn about who you are. If they have to do something like designing your business card it shows you value your customers and see them as important. In turn, they learn more about your business and it can create word of mouth.
