Website Design based on trends do not reflect your branding.
Fashion has started to play an important role in web design. It shouldn’t. Brand continuity and improved ways for your customers to interact with your site. Your website says a lot about you and your company. It is an online representation of you and the core of all your marketing. All your social media outlets and printed marketing material should be extensions of your website and led back to your website.
Designers are always trying to push the boundaries of how companies and businesses interact online with customers. Customers don’t look for a company’s address first, they Google their website. Customers will move to a competitors site if your website appears dated, has poor navigation, loads slowly or isn’t mobile ready.

5 Website Trends of 2015
You can easily spot the good from the bad and ugly non-designed websites.
1. Big Images, Minimal Content
The use of the big image with text overlaid gives this site freshness and a contemporary feel. The usual horizontal menu isn’t used here. It allows the image to dominate.
2. Scrolling Book Style
Apple kept the traditional horizontal menu on top while also offering a constant scroll for the user with an images and text layout like a book.
3. Multimedia Sites
Hoover-Mason Trestle uses a clear tiled layout highlighting key elements of their business and offering clear easy navigation. They use multimedia elements: film and static images fading over one another create interest ing dynamic movement.
4. Animations and Storytelling Interaction
Arkivert use a different type of design, where you are introduced to a short animation before given the option to click navigation circles. It still maintains a minimal top menu but the image and animation take precedence. It is encourages the user to become more involved and stay on the site.
5. Tiled Modular Layout
Tiled modular layouts are beautifully simplistic and very easy to navigate offering the user several choices to click without displaying all your information at once.
