The Problem

The overall objective of the Midland Regional Drug and Alcohol Task Force (MRDATF) is to continue to tackle the harm caused to individuals and society by the misuse of drugs through a concerted focus on the five pillars of the Interim National Drugs Strategy 2009 – 2016, Supply Reduction, Prevention, Treatment, Rehabilitation and Research.

The problem the organisation had identified was a lack of a consistent and cohesive brand easily recognised and associated with MRDATF. Over the years numerous variations of logo, brand colours and style had crept in and the organisation wanted to develop a new branding to be adhered to and implemented in a consistent way moving forward.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

The Solution

In partnership with MRDAFT we worked on establishing an identity. We aimed to develop a style and message instantly recognised as being that of the organisation.

The logo features a stylised ‘M’ symbolising the personal care and connection with the people the organisation assist every day. The role of the Task Force is to research, develop, implement and monitor a co-ordinated response to illicit drug use at regional level. Once we had established the key visual elements we worked to implement this in a constant way across banners, event literature and website.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]
